Then God said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, mortal, and say to the breath: Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.” I prophesied as the Lord commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood […]
“Though you were once darkness now as Christians you are light. Prove yourself at home in the light. For where light is there is a harvest of goodness, righteousness, and truth. Learn to judge for yourself what is pleasing to the Lord; take no part in the barren needs of darkness, but show them up […]
God said, “Strike the rock, and water will come out of it, so that the people may drink.” Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel. He called the place Massah and Meribah, because the Israelites quarreled and tested the Lord, saying, ‘Is the Lord among us or not?’” Exodus 17:6-7 Moses […]
I had so many questions about “The why,” and “Why now?,” as bombs began to fall over the weekend? Days later, justifications continue to change for, “The why,” the United States joined Israel, to attack and wage war against Iran. Rumors circulate war with Iran was started, to set off events throughout the Middle East, […]
“Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.” John 3:3 Nicodemus was a seeker, a person searching for the truth about God. We first meet him in an encounter with Jesus, as he visits Jesus in the night time. Nicodemus is a scholar, a student […]
“We will protect Christians in our schools, in our military, in our government, in our workplaces, hospitals, and in our public squares,” When President Trump took office a year ago, he promised to protect Christians. He claimed Christians were a persecuted group of people, and he was their protector. Yet, the greatest persecutor of Christians […]
“Coming up out of the water, Jesus saw the heavens opening, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him; and a voice came out of the heavens: “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.” Immediately the Spirit impelled Him to go out into the wilderness. And He was in the wilderness […]
I have always seen that Psalm as being about the Temple or tabernacle, because of what’s in the rest of the verses. But in thinking about it some more, I remember that the tabernacle and the Temple were made with God’s specifications down to the last detail. (Like the flowers He created!) The builders made it exactly as He had instructed, which was why it was so beautiful. And I believe God sees true beauty in obedient servants, whatever things large or small we do to serve Him. HE is what makes any place beautiful, and when we are in the center of His will, we are, too. <3

Thanks for your reflection. The words popped into my mind as I was thinking of day I had spent at an Arboretum, with all the beautiful flowers and blossoms around me.

Wow I like this message.
You see I think if we meditate on this powerful scripture we get a glimpse too .
I recall Jacob making a similar remark Gen 28:17
New Living Translation
But he was also afraid and said, “What an awesome place this is! It is none other than the house of God, the very gateway to heaven!”
I think there are moments when you can sense the presence or His aura but you feel like its just a glimpse, then you think how excellent is actually His dwelling place.
The answer we will be looking for is, “There is more from where its coming from”
Great work!

Thanks for your reflection on this piece. I believe there are places made sacred by the prayers of God’s people. Certainly, places of joy and praise are among them.
